Incorporated in 2018, as Aelea Commodities Private Limited (Now known as Aelea Commodities Ltd.), is engaged in the business of Agri commodities such as Sugar, Rice, Wheat Flour, Pulses, Beans, Vegetables etc and processing of Raw Cashew Nuts. Promoters are associated with the Agri commodities trading & processing sector for more than a decade. The company has created a good market reputation and credibility with its suppliers and customers. Since the promoters are seasoned professionals in the Agri Commodities sector, they are well aware of the pros and cons of the industry.

Aelea Commodities Limited is currently focusing on trading of Sugar, Wheat Flour, Rice, Maida and Cashews in India.
Cashew Processing
Raw Cashew nuts originated from Africa are processed and sold in India. The company has processed more than 6000 MT of raw cashew nut each year of operation.
Sugar Trading
Sugar is sourced from various mills and ACL mostly sells its product to large corporates. ACL is primarily trading approximately 2,000 MT of sugar every month.

ACL deals only in physical commodities i.e. Agri. commodities are bought and sold on back-to-back basis. This method reduces risk of price fluctuation.

Hozefa Jawadwala
- Managing Director
Mr. Hozefa Jawadwala, Managing Director, is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial management, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, SAP implementation, fund raising, and multi-cultural team management. He has worked with Bank of America, ICICI Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank until 2007. Subsequently, he joined ACC Concrete Ltd as Associate General Manager, overseeing compliance, audits, and projects until 2010. He then joined Olam International Ltd as CFO in Ivory Coast, later moving to London as Director of Integration for the Cocoa Division (including Cashew Processing), remaining with OLAM until 2015. Following this, he joined ED&F MAN as Finance Controller in Mumbai, heading their Sugar division and gaining in-depth knowledge of sugar trade. He then joined Tata International Ltd as Business, Finance & Accounts Head of their Agri Division, overseeing operations in Vietnam, India, and Africa, trading in cashew processing, pulses, sugar, soybean, and raw cashew, until May 2019. With over 10 years of experience in the Agri-based industry, his key areas of expertise include:
- Country CFO for the past 5 years, managing a country turnover of more than USD 1 billion.
- Country CFO For The Past 5 Years, Managing Sectors Such As FMCG, Agri Commodities, Cement, And Banking & Financial Services.
- Experience of Fund Raising of USD 30 million in Western African Regional Stock exchange.
He currently oversees the overall business of the company, focusing on business expansion, customer acquisition, and supplier negotiations.
Ashok Patel
- Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Ashok Patel - Chief Financial Officer, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Commerce Graduate from Calcutta University. He is having 20 years of experience into the field of Finance, Credit, and Project Funding etc. He has managed business operation, handled profit centres for Corporates, Financial and Operational Control, Business expansion through various channels and network. His experience includes working in HDB Financial Services Ltd., Landmark Group – Saudi Arabia, ICICI Bank and Surat Electrical Company Ltd.
His desire to work on his own led him to set up “this company” in November 2018. He has been at the helm of this company ever since. He is looking after Banking Relations, Finance Management, Accounts, Human Resource, Statutory & Regulatory Compliances and Vendor management. He overseas the Overall operations of the Company.
Firoz Hathiyari
- Non Executive Director
Firoz Hathiyari is the Director of Aelea Commodities Ltd. and is a renowned practicing Chartered Accountant from Mumbai and having 25 plus years of experience into the field of Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Project funding. He looks after Compliance related matters of the Company.
Nikunj Kanabar
- Non Executive Independent Director
Nikunj Kanabar is a seasoned professional with a rich background in accounting, auditing, and taxation. With a strong foundation built through comprehensive training and diverse work experiences, he brings a wealth of expertise to his consultancy services.
Nikunj successfully completed the orientation training provided by ICAI, followed by a 100-hour Computer Training under ICAI rules. He has also completed the GMCS-1 Course and holds a GST Practitioner Certificate from the Department.
His career began at Rajesh G Shah & Co., where he worked as an Article Assistant & then served as an Audit Manager at M. R Tanna & Co.
Nikunj has also worked as a Senior Executive at CAV.V Bhate & Co., handling compliance for both Direct and Indirect Taxation for individuals, partnership firms, and private limited companies across various business segments. He notably managed the accounts, auditing, and taxation for real estate firms, builders, and developers, independently handling these responsibilities for the last 1.5 years of his tenure.
Currently, Nikunj provides full-time consultancy services in accounts and both direct and indirect taxation for Amardeep Constructions, a prominent real estate firm, since April 2023.
With his extensive experience and dedication to excellence, Nikunj Kanabar is committed to delivering top-notch consultancy services tailored to meet the unique needs of his clients.
Chandresh Unagar
- Non Executive Independent Director
Chandresh M. Unagar, aged 31, is the Non-Executive Independent Director of Speciality Medicines Limited. He earned his Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from the University of Mumbai in 2013 and passed the Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Examination from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2016.
Chandresh was initially appointed as the Additional (Non-Executive Independent) Director of the Company on June 1, 2024. Subsequently, his role was confirmed, and he was appointed as the Non-Executive Independent Director for a five-year term, effective from June 1, 2024, through a Special Resolution passed by the Members on June 25, 2024.
With professional experience at V V Bhatte & Co., Chartered Accountancy Firm, and Trigyn Technologies Limited, Chandresh brings a wealth of knowledge in finance. His expertise significantly benefits the Company in sourcing and managing its financial resources.
